Yamaha Ventures into Electric Hypercar Market with Project V

Known for its motorcycles, Japanese company Yamaha is making a bold move by entering the electric car market. In collaboration with British motorsport enthusiasts Caterham, Yamaha is developing an electric hypercar codenamed Project V.

Unveiled to the public at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, this vehicle is set to make waves. Beneath its lightweight and aerodynamic body lies a powerful electric motor delivering 268 horsepower. With its impressive power-to-weight ratio, Project V promises incredible performance: it will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 230 km/h. Thanks to a 55 kWh battery, the car will have a range of up to 400 kilometers.

The interior of Project V is also set to impress. Maserati seats will ensure maximum comfort and support, while Audi TT-style doors will add both sportiness and elegance to the design.
