HMD Hyper: A Modern Smartphone
Details have emerged online about a new smartphone named HMD Hyper. Insider @smashx_60 shared information in their blog on the platform X (formerly Twitter). The design of this upcoming model resembles the HMD Skyline, which was introduced last month, itself inspired by the Nokia Lumia series.
HMD Hyper will feature a rectangular body with rounded edges and an OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.
The primary camera on this smartphone will have a 50 MP sensor with optical image stabilization, complemented by 13 MP and 8 MP modules. The front-facing camera will also boast 50 MP, capable of recording FHD video at 60 frames per second. The main camera will support video recording in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
HMD Hyper will be equipped with a 4700 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The release date and price for this device have yet to be announced.
