Sony has unveiled the system requirements for the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok, which is set to launch on September 19. However, what has caught everyone’s attention is the massive amount of storage space the game requires.
The requirements list features five different configurations, ranging from 1080p at 30 fps on low settings to 4K at 60 fps on ultra settings. For the minimum specs, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 paired with an Intel i5-4670k will suffice. However, to enjoy the game at 1440p with 60 fps on high settings, you’ll need an RTX 3070 and an i7-7700k. To run the game in 4K on ultra settings, an RTX 4070 Ti is recommended.
What shocked most users was the game’s size: God of War: Ragnarok demands a whopping 190 GB of free disk space. Even though SSDs have become more affordable, the sheer size of the game could still take many gamers by surprise!
