Sony has refreshed the design of the PlayStation 5 Slim with the introduction of its new Chroma Collection panels. The vibrant colors of pearl, turquoise, and indigo allow gamers to personalize their console and add a touch of individuality to their gaming experience.
Sony offers three rich hues, catering to both classic enthusiasts and those who prefer bolder choices. In addition to the console panels, the company has released DualSense controllers in matching colors to create a unified look. The accessories will be available in leading European countries, including Russia. Pearl and indigo-colored panels will be available for purchase on November 7th. Those looking for the turquoise accessories will have to wait a bit longer, as they will be released on January 23, 2025. Pre-orders can be placed starting October 3rd. The Chroma Collection panels will be priced at $64.99. The new DualSense will cost $79.99.
In parallel with the release of the Chroma Collection, Sony is preparing a special edition PS5 and PS5 Pro in the retro style of the original PlayStation 1. There is currently no information on whether panels for this special edition will be sold separately.
