Midjourney Launches Free Web Version of AI Image Generator

The image generation service Midjourney has unveiled a free web version of its AI image generator, allowing users direct access to the tool without needing the Discord messenger. Now, anyone interested can explore the capabilities of the “AI artist” through a user-friendly graphical interface on the Midjourney website.

To get started, users simply need to register on the Midjourney site using a Google or Discord account. Once registered, users can create images based on text prompts, adjust their parameters, view previously generated works in a separate tab, and interact with other users of the service. Additionally, there’s a feature to rate other participants’ works.

David Holz, co-founder and CEO of Midjourney, stated that new users can generate up to 25 images for free during the trial period. This allows users to explore the main features of the platform without any financial commitment. After the trial period, subscription costs will start at $8, depending on the selected plan.
