The upcoming iPhone 16 series is expected to bring several advancements over its predecessor, the iPhone 15, including a larger screen, more powerful processor, and additional features.
iPhone 16 Pro vs iPhone 15 Pro: Anticipated Upgrades
The iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to have a 6.3-inch OLED display, compared to the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 15 Pro. This new display is expected to be brighter and feature slimmer bezels—1.2mm compared to the 1.71mm on the previous model—for a more immersive viewing experience. The iPhone 16 Pro will reportedly be powered by the new A18 Pro chip, offering improved performance and efficiency over the A17 Pro chip found in the iPhone 15 Pro.
Significant upgrades are anticipated in the camera system of the iPhone 16 Pro, including a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera and a 5x telephoto lens, replacing the 12-megapixel Ultra Wide and 3x telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to impress with a 6.9-inch OLED display, which is larger and brighter than the 6.7-inch display on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The bezels are rumored to be reduced to 1.15mm from 1.55mm, providing a more expansive screen area.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will reportedly feature the new A18 Pro chip, promising better performance compared to the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
