FriendlyELEC has introduced a new single-board computer, the NanoPi M6, featuring a compact design with a built-in touchscreen. Despite its small size, the NanoPi M6 offers a robust set of interfaces for peripheral connectivity.
The NanoPi M6 is powered by the Rockchip RK3588S processor and comes in various memory configurations: 4, 16, or 32 GB of LPDDR5-2400 RAM and 32/64 GB of eMMC storage. It also includes a microSD card slot and an M.2 slot supporting NVMe drives (PCIe 2.1). The interface options include:

- 1 x USB 3.0 Type-A
- 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1 x USB Type-C for power input
- 1 x Ethernet (1 Gbps)
- 1 x 3.5mm audio output
- 1 x M.2 2230 (E-Key) for WiFi and Bluetooth
- 2 x MIPI-DSI display connectors
- 1 x MIPI-CSI camera input
- 30-pin GPIO connector
In its premium version, the board is housed in a metal case (99 x 68 x 31 mm) with a 3.5-inch touchscreen boasting a resolution of 480×800 pixels. Supported operating systems include Android 12, Debian, Ubuntu, OpenMediaVault, and FriendlyWrt.
The NanoPi M6 with the case and display starts at $123 for the 4/32 GB configuration. The version with 32 GB of RAM and a 64 GB eMMC drive is priced at $205. The bare board is available directly from the manufacturer for $70.
