Final Fantasy XVI is set to make its debut on PC, arriving on Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 17th, 2024. The acclaimed RPG, originally released for PS5 in June 2023, will be available with its DLC content included in the preorders. Players can also experience a free demo, with progress carrying over to the full game.
Preorders for Final Fantasy XVI are now open on both platforms, featuring options for complete editions that encompass all the DLC chapters released so far: Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. The demo, which covers the game’s opening segment, allows players to try before they buy, with any achievements from the demo seamlessly transferring to the full version.
Since its original launch, Square Enix has rolled out numerous updates to enhance the game, including a “quick complete” feature to streamline quests. This PC release follows an announcement by Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida in September of last year, confirming the upcoming port.
