Official sleep tracking is now on the Apple Watch – via the watchOS 7 beta, at least. While it has already been possible to keep tabs on your bedtime via third party apps, there have been calls for some time now for Apple to match its smartwatch rivals and offer its own sleep monitoring software.
That time has finally come. With the announcement of watchOS 7 at WWDC 2020 back in June, Apple's first Sleep app was finally unveiled to the world. The next major Apple Watch software update will be available for many Apple Watch owners over the coming months, and you can try it out now using the watchOS beta.
