Overclocker Alva Jonathan from Indonesia set a new frequency record by pushing the newly released AMD Ryzen 5 9600X to an impressive 7 GHz on all six cores. This achievement marks the highest frequency ever reached on a Zen 5 architecture CPU.
The record-breaking frequency also resulted in top scores for 6-core processors in Cinebench 2024 (multi-threaded test) and y-cruncher.
To achieve these results, a liquid nitrogen cooling system was used, along with an MSI MEG X670E ACE motherboard and a pair of DDR5 memory modules. You can watch the full overclocking session on YouTube.
